But then after learning about it, and becoming sort of a ghostwriter. I learned that it worked in a similar way to a ghost. You write the content, but your name isn't attached, so no one knows you wrote it.
Yes I know.... I know... What question has struck your mind. "Why would someone write without getting attribution for it?"

• Summary:
What actually is Ghostwriting?
Ghostwriting, is a form of content writing that literally includes writing anything and everything. This includes a novel, a book, a magazine, a website content and a blog, or an article, short story etc.
However, where we say that ghostwriting is a subset of content writing. At the same time there comes a difference and the main difference between ghostwriting and other forms of content writing is that ghostwriting allows you to write on behalf of another person.
The idea is proposed by the client and you have to write a content on their idea, based on the style that the client wants you to write on.
Afterwards, when it comes to the public, the whole credit goes to the client. You only get paid for your skills as a ghostwriter. And I know its little bit sad to say that, you can’t repost the content because your client is known as the author. Now i am sure the question rises what benefits you then?
What are the benefits of Ghostwriting?
Now, if you’re not allowed to repost, you won’t get credit then why do people choose ghostwriting? The answer is that, what we count is getting credit but in actual that isn’t the only thing being considered, if you believe that sky's the limit. And as its said, Something must be lost to gain something. You should also consider that, Are you being paid the same as your hard-work? That tells the worthy of your contributions.
If so, then don’t waste the opportunity because there are multiple ways to get exposed in public eye and money can help you start off new businesses too.
Ghostwriters, are very well paid, depending on the skills they have and the number of word count they're publishing. Your fame matters but if you get a good salary never lose the opportunity.
Second thing, that you earn money for a single post, no need to startup a blog website where you've to be consistently posting, waiting for a specific time, and then monetize it although that benefits but those who wants immediate money then I would say that be a ghostwriter and reach out to your clients.
Third benefit is that you are being offered to write on different genres, niches and styles. This will boost your knowledge, your experience, your understanding for different topics. If you tryout different styles which might be harder when you're writing as a single person then your writing skills gets versatile and that's what a successful content writer has. After that, yes you can start a blog too for more earnings.
Fourth benefit is that you don't need to show a specific degree or qualifications to enter the field. So as a teenager or even a adult which is in early 20s, you can support your household and your own personal desires too. Especially, if you write good and has a hobby of doing it then why not go for this option.
Those people who find themselves burdened by household chores or 9-5 job hours and still aren't getting enough salary to afford a good standard life then why not give some time searching for this type of job.
Are there Earning potentials?
It is known that a ghostwriter earn big bucks, however, that measures according to how much experienced ghostwriters are in their abilities. I checked on Fiverr, a ghostwriter earns for a e book around $314.4-$913.8.
I can’t confirm the rates because it can vary however, you can take an estimation from this. Well, if you’re writing short stories, fiction novels, cookbooks, blog posts, the cost would differ.
Also people can pay you per word too. So all that is mattering.
Your Portfolio:
You can tell people about your portfolio to make your online presence stronger, you can use names of credible apps like Upwork and Fiverr as freelancing platforms where you’d worked. This can boost your work range and make further connections for you.
Another tip for gaining more trust is to prove your writing skills by giving a sample of it. You should show how well you write, people do admire it and so on. So, it's like a job but more than education it plays with skills.
For a portfolio, an important factor is communication skills. If you are a content creator who knows how to write according to people's preferences then their portfolio will be a sign of their professionalism and most of the clients will choose you based on your way of presenting things which is also called as effectively communicating with people. Now let me tell you what this includes:
- The order in which you step wise present everything with not cluttering anything. This shows how well organise and experience you are in showcasing your tasks. For example, if you've written any reports, blog posts, articles, short stories, interviews, memoirs. Set it nicely.
- You can use a presentation in which slides are coming one after another. You should include visually appealing pictures which effectively tells what you're trying to convey.
- You should be both formal and casual depends on the situation. Of course it is a professional portfolio but being all time formal won't impact your client that much, so it's better that you also share some casualties which they find you as being friendly.
• Connection:
Once your work is being admired then you start to gain confidence too, plus your connections starts to build. Then through your writing skills you can access many people and take work from them. You can even make courses online on your entire experiences, you can start your own blogs on earning money online. Then having connections means that if some clients know you can talk to for your chance when they know someone who is in search for having ghostwriters.

You can start your own digital agency or company where you give different writing skills to people. You can join different social media platforms such as: Facebook groups, access through LinkedIn Account as its a great place to find your customers.
Here you can start off by SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Content writing, Blog writing, Social media marketing posts, writing case studies, and more. Growing a ghostwriting business can be easy if you already has an experience. You can start off by learning some expertise in writing, then going to some freelancing platforms and then go to starting your business.
However, to start the business you need to know marketing strategies as well, so that people can pay your writing services, and you could do that by first of all making a appealing website
Starting your own Blogs:
While starting your business, you can begin with your blog articles too, choosing a profitable niche is highly important. In your blog, you can write on content writing fields, you can discuss how to earn through it. For writing your blog articles you have to brainstorm your ideas and write them point wise on a white paper, then think of them in detail. This is my technique before starting to write a blog.
This all is being done due to learning multiple Experiences:
If you’re intending to become a good content writer, then this could be an opportunity for you. Don’t directly start by holding off big projects like publishing books and novels just start by writing articles and blogs for your clients. Second tip, always chose those projects and confirm it when you know you can do it.
However, if it comes to diverse experience, that is because you’ll learn to write for different niches, content formats, which definitely makes you an expert overtime in your field and then you can start off your own independent businesses. There can be several niches you would be writing:
Finance
Business
Health
Technology
Product Reviews
Health
Beauty & Fashion
Advertisements e.t.c
Staying behind the scenes:
If you’re someone who finds it uncomfortable coming into public eye by your name but, you still want to work then this opportunity is good for you. You’ll become a good ghostwriter while working hidden and will gain confidence too, becoming an entrepreneur overtime. This can lead an introverted person boom in their field too.
It is not always the case that people want to come on front in beginning. May be some people are shy, or under confident about themselves. Hence, this is a good start up point for knowing your inner talent.
