A ghostwriter word would mean so strange to everyone listening it for the first time including me! I know you are not able to make sense between the two words together 'ghost' and 'writer,' but to be honest, this has a deep meaning.  

The reason is you're being called 'ghost' is because of your role. You do everything in the writing process but are not getting any credit for it, means no one knows your hidden hard work, instead the person or client, who had proposed the idea will gather the whole limelight even though he did not even do anything! 

Alright, I know. I am aware of the question that might be running through your mind at this moment.

 

"Why would someone write without being credited?"

Well, if you're new to this field then that's a genuine question. I was once a person like you and thought that ghostwriting would do nothing for me but I proved wrong. It helped me a lot! I have written blogs, created social media posts. I have earned more than I expected.

Hence, now I've reached that point where I can clear all those people who keep an approach l did once!

Well, my personal experience is as important, as other parts of the blog. The reason is because every single method, I tell you has been done by me practically.

So, personal experience involves all those ups and downs I've gone through during this journey and of course, if you learn someone's ups and downs you won't make those mistakes and your way to success would get quite easier and less scattered. 

I didn't entered with becoming a ghostwriter, rather I entered as a blogger because it seemed that I'm getting credited as well and getting money at the same time. However, for some reasons I must say that as a first time content writer you should enter becoming a ghostwriter. 

I have earned good through it, just from single project, however when it comes to writing your own Content like blogs, novels, e-books and stuff it might be hectic for some people. 

The reason is that, if you don't have enough patience to wait for months and months to get monetized. You can't wait for months or even years to rank your content. 

You don't want to waste time on developing a website and then buying plans for it whether monthly or yearly. 

You don't want to put efforts on social media gatherings, and collecting population to know about you which is also called as social media marketing too. Remember, that collecting people and driving them to blog can take big struggle and time. Secondly, you need to do other methods as well which requires money too and this is called as guest posting and even if you do it for free you're going to face so many struggles. 

 You don't want to devote time to fill your website, with contents at start and writings 3-4 or even more blogs per week and of course, we don't get paid for them immediately.

 It takes time! Then it is best that you go for ghostwriting. 

And even if it's not blogs. If it's e-books, novels, magazines then the designing costs, purchasing would take time and if you partnership with stores, you have to give commission for it on each sales. So, that all takes time.

What is a Ghostwriter?

As I already, told you in the intro, that Ghostwriters are people who have a spectral appearance, but let me make it clear to you, that what sort of tasks does a ghostwriter do. 

Ghostwriters are just like other content writers, specialize in areas for writing e-books, blogs, news articles, magazines, social media posts, SEO writing, short stories, novels and more. 

The main difference is that they are in between of both doing a job but not a job too. 

I mean, that they carry projects and do them but, because its not their independent work, and are doing it on salary so its called as 'sort of job', however, the reason its not called as 'proper job' is because its not a fixed schedule and secondly you're your own boss that taking projects which suits you and your timings. 

How to Become a Ghostwriter? 

Becoming a Ghostwriter, requires a multiple things to be present.

For anyone related to this field, generating ideas and having a knowledge treasure is highly important and you get it when you’re an avid reader. 

I love reading books myself too and read different genres but majorly its psychology, biographies and reading news articles. 

So, what actually reading does is that it tells you how to pen down different niches and styles of writing into a piece of paper.

Additionally, people likes those content which are filled with diverse vocabulary because it enriches your content making it more clear to what you’re trying to convey to the reader plus, your information gets deep.

 

No one is liking repetitions, as it makes your content boring and showing that the content is vague and lacks knowledge in it. 

Repetition includes mentioning the same words again and again, using same idioms, phrases again, or even sticking to one idea and just rephrasing it with different words but the concept is same.

Well, what you need is creativity because that’s what people will find interesting. When you have creativity inside you and that comes when you’re introduced to different experiences. 

Book readings also helps you in critically thinking and evaluating your knowledge. This means that if a topic is given to you, you would know what it would be like to describe from different angles, perspective and that’s what your client would be demanding, that the content shall be thick and thought provoking. Well, the good point is both of it comes when you are a bookworm and have a talent to take things in a critical manner.
